Helping young people SWITCH their thinking about Education and Employment
Our SWITCH mentors work intensively with students in years 9-12 who are at risk of disengaging from school with the aim to reengage them back into an effective learning environment or provide support with their transition into meaningful employment.
The programme provides flexible and supportive learning environments for students who have a history of poor educational experiences.

The Youth Express SWITCH Mentors work one-on-one and with small groups of students, who have been identified by the appropriate school representative and referred to the SWITCH Programme.
The SWITCH Mentoring Programme is available to schools in the Hunter region and is offered as a fee for service programme.
